CARVER Custom is excited to release their 9MM 2 port compensator for your M&P Shield. These comps were designed to fit the countour of the Shield slide and to appear as an extension of the slide. The compensators are made out of tough 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and have Type 2 anodizing in two colors: Black and Silver.

Our combo includes an Alpha Wolf 9MM threaded barrel (1/2 x 28) threads, black oxide barrel with fluting and muzzle protector.  Alpha Wolf barrels establish the benchmark for absolute accuracy and combat reliability. It is the pinnacle of what every other barrel manufacturer strives to be.

Please note:  Pictures shown with Shield handgun and Slide cuts are not included with the compensator.  Pictures are for reference only.  Color of comp and gun in picture is Sniper Grey.

Barrel Features:

  • Fits S&W Shield 9mm
  • Designed for lead, plated, or jacketed ammunition
  • Certified, stress relieved 416 stainless steel
  • Button rifled, three stage honed bore
  • Industry recognized SBN premium coating (SBN is Salt Bath Nitride, similar to Tennifer)
  • Heat treated to RC 40-42, then SBN coating increases surface hardness to RC 60
  • Exacting tolerances allow for drop in installation
  • Fluting creates path for heat and debris to escape
  • Threaded models come with appropriate thread protector installed

Benefits of this compensator include:

  •  Large expansion chamber leading into 1 retaining port
  • Porting on the sides, allows more air to rush into the compensator, pushing more exhaust up, allowing more control of the muzzle
  • Comp weight .9 oz
  • Guiderod channel under compensator
  • Controls muzzle flip and recoil up to 40% dependent upon type of ammunition used. The higher power factors will deliver more efficiency.
  • Stylish and effective!!
  • Installs with factory guiderod
  • Setscrew installation or with threadblocker such as loctite 272
  • The contour of the compensator was designed for concealed carry

The comps are threaded for Shield 1/2 x 28 tpi barrels.   We stock Alpha Wolf custom barrels for the M&P Shield that will fit with the compensator.
  • NOTICE: 115 Grain Factory ammunition will function the slide properly when using our 2 Port Comp.  To assure smoother and faster slide speed, lube the slide's rails on both sides and the barrel where it goes through the slide.  A drop of oil on your factory guiderod will smooth the action of the spring as well.
